JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, ambitious Sales Executive who will be prospecting new business based in our New York office in Manhattan. This position will require selling our stock product line and collaborating with customers on their desired custom package.  At Fusion, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced strategic environment, where bold, innovative thinking isn’t just welcomed, it’s encouraged.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, then maintain business in the direct sale of airless and atmospheric dispensing systems, tubes, and jars to the cosmetic and skin care markets using consultative selling skills
  • Responsible for attainment of annual sales goals through the Fusion business review process, new account development and account retention
  • Work closely with in-house design and development team to provide customers with creative and innovative packaging solutions
  • Develop, produce and present sales proposals to customers demonstrating our ability to offer creative solution based programs
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels & cross-function of clients including Purchasing, Packaging Development & Marketing
  • Solicit new accounts through past relationships or cold calling
  • Work closely with client throughout life cycle of project
  • Responsible for the appropriate and timely completion of all field reports such as weekly reports, expense reports as well as various administrative tasks as requested
  • Maintain a clean and neat professional appearance

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college required
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the packaging or a cross market industry selling to the personal care market required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proven sales track record of meeting sales goals
  • Strategic sales planning skills
  • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Excellent written and oral skills required
  • Must live in tri-state area

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an independent, confident, self-starter for an Inside Sales Executive position within our New York office and showroom.  Our ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, professional environment.  Quick, solid decision making skills are a must. Must be experienced following up with leads and managing sales pipeline to a close. The ability to learn packaging and beauty related knowledge is required.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Contact all leads given (web, phone, tradeshow) and answer requisitions in an efficient manner
  • Identify and prioritize potential opportunities in designated territory
  • Turn qualified leads into new business for Fusion Packaging, selling stock product line and collaborating with customers on their desired custom package
  • Meets or exceeds annual sales goals
  • Use consultative selling skills, technical knowledge and probing skills to win opportunities
  • Fully manage the development process for assigned customers from start to project finish
  • Give sales presentations demonstrating our ability to offer creative, solution-based programs
  • Timely follow-up on takeaways from meetings and other correspondence to customer satisfaction while protecting Fusion Packaging
  • Provide insights to internal team on assigned customers product forecasts and state of the business
  • Outbound telephone prospecting and cold calling
  • Monitor perceived and real competition 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college required
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging or a cross-market industry selling to the personal care market
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proven sales track record of meeting sales goals
  • Attend regional and national trade shows when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and neat professional appearance 
  • Excellent communication skills—written, oral and listening—required
  • Must live in New York area
