August 2010 - Fusion Packaging has been recognized as a finalist for
the 2010 International Package Design Awards (IPDA) which will be featured
at the HBA Global Expo in New York City this month. Winners for each of
the nine categories as well as the Grand Award will be announced on Tuesday,
September 28, 2010 at Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan. The
awards ceremony celebrates its 10th anniversary by naming the year’s best
designs in skincare, personal care, fragrance, cosmetics and sustainable packaging.
A panel of judges, more than 100 industry professionals reviewed hundreds of beauty
products with a focus on concept, creative use of materials, design, originality,
components, technical competency, decorating and brand messaging. “Fusion is proud
to have been named one of the four finalists in the Skin Care Prestige category. We are
honored to be recognized in this esteemed award,” said Derek Harvey, Co-CEO of Fusion Packaging.
Fusion Packaging submitted its recent redesign and new packaging of the RE9 Advanced, Arbonne’s
premier skincare brand. The new RE9 line includes jars and tubes supplied by Fusion for a total
of 12 SKUs. "Fusion Packaging proved to be an excellent partner on this project. Their knowledge
and experience in projects of this magnitude was clearly displayed as our aggressive speed to market
timetable was met without interruption," said Greg Chambers, Arbonne’s VP of global supply chain.
